Ingredients

Simple pie crust

  • 1 cup flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 150 grams of vegan butter
  • Water

Filling

  • One small onion
  • 1/4 cup of bread crumb
  • 2 chubs of Plantcraft pâté
  • Grated vegan cheese

Instructions

Pre-heat your oven on high (around 200 degrees) and line a baking tray with baking paper. Add the flour, salt and butter into a bowl, mix all the ingredients adding in some cold water until it forms a dough.

For the filling, sauté the finely chopped onion then let it cool. Mix 2 rolls of Plantcraft pâté, the sautéed onion and the breadcrumb. Roll out your pastry into a rectangle. Fold the pâté mixture onto the long edge of the sheet. Add some grated vegan cheese then carefully roll up your pastry to enclose the filling.

Brush them with plant-based milk then place them on the tray and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden. Serve them with tomato sauce.

Enjoy!
